Sad news, he had a holiday home in the village i grew up in. I met him on a number of occasions in the local shops and at the golf club. He always seemed to have time for everyone.

He’ll be greatly missed, The Two Ronnies were a staple of my childhood TV viewing, just imagine the laughs that will be happening upstairs now that they’re reunited.

I remember as a kid watching the Two Ronnies with my dad, with him literally crying laughing. What a sad day. RIP 😥

The two Ronnies was one of the best comedy telly programmes ever.

I laughed so much when he fell off the conveyor belt thingy, while filming a Peter Kaye video (once I knew he wasn’t injured).

After a series of crimes in the Glasgow area, Chief Inspector McTavish has announced that he is looking for a man with one eye. If he doesn’t find him, he’s going to use both eyes
