looking up a company yesterday and spotted a placename for Little Britain.

I used to drive through a village called Touchen End which always made me smile.

Shingy-Cum-Wendy was always good for a giggle as well.

Not an amusing place name, but an amusing sign anyway 😉

To the West of Stirling there are some brilliant place names.

Pendicles of Collymoon.

Over Easter Offerance.

Backside of Garden.

Barbadoes.

Wards of Goodie.

Baad Spring.

and Faraway.

All in a four mile radius of the Flats of Kippen.

Apart from crop circles, and Avebury, there’s obviously wierd stuff going on in North Wiltshire that warps time and space, this sign is in Goatacre, near RAF Lyneham:

I was driving through Canal Street in Manchester’s gay village and some wag had painted out the C and the S. Very droll.
