I didn’t ask for a critique on my shopping habits.
I wasn’t and if that’s how it came across then apologies. My point was that they don’t care. About anyone. Customers, employees, suppliers, the lot. They pretend to offer a better service with Prime but it’s only how fast they kick it out the warehouse, once it’s in the wild then it’s the same drivers on the same schedules. £95 doesn’t buy a lot of deliveries these days, let alone good ones, the costs have to be cut somewhere. That’s not on you or a criticism of you but sometimes you need to look at these things in perspective and decide how much value you are really getting vs the expectation. (which, yes, should include someone not just dumping packages outside your door)
And the worst bit is that they’ve dragged everyone else down to their level (along with Evri and Yodel, they don’t get a pass). Remember when the worst you could do was ParcelFarce? Halcyon days.
