  • Alternative to an Exposure Redeye rear light?

I’ve just got an Exposure Revo to use on my new “audaxy” road bike with a SP dyno-hub. It makes sense to use the same to power a rear light, especially as it can easily be connected to the Revo. But having spent lots on the Revo, I’d prefer a cheaper rear light to the £35 Redeye. Is there anything else that can be connected?

No, there’s no other rear light that will plug in. But the good news is that the Revo is more than bright enough to run on a mountain bike, off road, on proper technical trails, not just on fire roads, so you’ll be able to get value from your purchase 😉

I’m not sure if mine is the red eye or not but it plugs via a cable to my joystick I use for road riding.

It’s brighter than the sun* which is great in that a) there’s no chance of cars not seeing you b) it is so annoyingly bright my turns on the front are always much shorter 😉

I’d definitely go for the Exposure jobby expensive though it may be.
