Time to replace my 1 1/8th Hope headset bearing (new style pick’n’mix)
Would I be correct in thinking these will fit at nearly half the price?

If not, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It would appear they are the same dimensions-check this doc out

However, the hope ones are stainless and worth more than twice the price in my opinion. I have used something similar to the one in your link and they did not last for long

Hope ones lasted 2 years. Is that good? I was expecting longer

The ones I had that were similar to the ones you linked to for a Cane Creek headset lasted less than one season. And I don’t jetwash my bike. I have just done some work on a four year old bike for someone who had done zero maintenance in that time, to the point the forks had to be binned and the cables… Well lets just say they were shocking. Anyhow, the only two components that wern’t worn out were the Hope BB and the headset. Still in excellent nick.

I have a hope headset I fitted in 2008 on one of my bikes that is on the original bearings
