    Did the passportes on a C456 with revelations. Managed to do it but my wrists were killing by the end!

    Did Les Arc last year on my Yelli 29er fitted with 2.4 Ardents, all was fine. Back again this year.

    I’ve done it. Its the fatigue that really got me, especially by the end of the week.

    Its much more fun on a full-sus.

    I took my Soul out to Morzine last september, 140mm forks and it and I had a blast! Can get rough on the braking bumps but when your chasing DH rigs down the trails you sort of feel a little more hardcore!
    Did the Dragonsback to Champery and thats where she really was in her element!

    Several years ago, coming down the downhill track at Lenzeheide, I stopped for and old mans breather, on the fire road.

    I turned around and someone on a Dialled Bikes Alpine (purple) came over my head and onto the next section of the track.

    I was impressed – and therefore think that, yes, you can do the Alps on a Hardtail …
