We’re heading there at the weekend. I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me if it’s drying out – the Megavalanche footage looked pretty grim.

    Thanks

Well it was dry last week but peed down last Monday. Roads were fine though…. 😉

We’re heading down that way on Friday too so keeping our fingers crossed for dry conditions having seen some pretty gloopy looking Mega pics on twitter. I think the weather looks really good from here on in down that way, so hopefully we’ll see some of those ‘300 days of sun’ whilst we’re there and it dry’s out asap (if it’s not already!)

KateD yes, I’m really hoping it drys out. The bottom of the Megavalanche course once it hits the tree line is great fun.

It’s the exposed bits that worry me. I’m scared of heights anyway so greasy mud + big drop over the edge sends a shiver down my spine! The weather forecast keeps changing but at the moment it’s showing 25 degrees and sunny on Saturday and for most of the week, so fingers crossed 🙂
