Presumably if he can be shown to have perjured himself at their earlier divorce/custody hearings by not disclosing assets and lying about other stuff, then he is even more screwed.

I wonder if the cops might be interested in the contents of his phone?

He was at the Jan 6 coup attempt and in communication with plenty of folk in the thick of it. If he’s been stupid enough not to use a burner phone, then I’m guessing the DOJ will be very interested.

Dunno if you’ve read Jon Ronson’s book ‘Them’ from 2001 (worth a read if not) but he knocks about with Alex Jones quite early in his ‘career’. Jones is portrayed as a nice enough guy, a bit eccentric, a bit madcap, recording his internet radio show from his kid’s bedroom and going on these wild flights of fancy. But – he doesn’t come across as a complete **** like he does now. Just a bit of a plonker. Presumably the partner mentioned in the book then, is his angry ex-wife now…

If if the court does bankrupt him, there are plenty of very right wing billionaires in the US who will re-finance him as he serves their interests. Pretty sure the FSB will put some money his way as sowing dissension is one of their main objectives.

I think I’m with you.  They had the opportunity to say it was privileged and didn’t.

However I am enjoying watching him getting a kicking in court.  It’s like the Vardy trial, some folks think that throwing a phone over a boat and saying it is an accident makes it true when obviously it’s not.   Making it stick is another matter though.

He does seem to make money at an incredible rate though so he might be trading off losing the case against reducing by how much and adding a whole bunch of new supporters to his cause.
