  • Ah, the old house insurance question- who's best contents only?

I’ve seen the insurance question come up lots on here but have always assumed that you lot are home owners. Has anyone found a good replacement for M&S contents only? Their renewal price went up £200 when I told them about my bikes.

    Thanks in advance.

    Just went with john lewis.
not the cheapest but to add the bikes was only £9 a month extra

They’re winning on the price comparison sites but I’m holding out in case anyone knows about something that’s not on there.

I’m with the cooperative and would highly recommend them. They insure bikes on the premises for up to 3k each without being named etc. 1k when out and about. I needed to claim twice and they were true to their word.

Also just switched from M&S to John Lewis small increase per month but now with adequate cover for the bikes.

Used to be M&S but now John Lewis (which I think is actually just a white labelled Alliansz policy).
