Yes, another vote for a short-travel FS 29er please.

430mm chainstays and reach of 460mm on the medium. I’ll leave the HA up to you. 125mm travel would be my choice, but I’m flexible if that impacts CS length

Well, it’s worth a try, eh?

    😀

PS. Yes, new frame is a handsome effort.

No! Full external cabling is what I want. Including for the dropper if poss.

This will be the reason they replied to my question about small Aeris frames yesterday that they said they wouldn’t have any until March!

Echoing the above, a 29er with similar geo and 130mmish travel will have me selling any organs necessary.

That just made choosing between the Aeris 120 ad 145 difficult, I can’t imagine that the weights will be much different.

There will be a weight difference due to the 145 handling a 160mm fork – but the bigger difference is geometry, with the 145 being 2 degrees slacker with a 160mm fork, and the feel of the extra travel.

Hmm, adjustable travel on the 29″ then 110-130 please! 😆

2 models 20mm travel apart would work, just like the 650b options. And having specced it for them I think we can ask for a discount. 🙂

Then I wouldn’t be able to choose!

Unless one were made from CF…

Yeah another vote for a 29″ bike, I would love to support Bird. I’m currently on a xl nukeproof scout 290 with a 66 degree head angle.

Hmm, was looking at getting an Aeris 1.5 for the Mrs before Xmas…

What we need is a Zero TR 29, I need a winter bike now but I’m really enjoying the bigger wheels at the minute!

    Old one looks nicer.

Guess the 2.5kg is plus shock?

What we need is a Zero TR 29,

That’s what my money is on for their first big-wheel frame.

Definitely a shortage of 29er HT frames with sorted geometry.

I think you mean the brace that’s joining the seatstays? Stiffer than just having separate stays meeting either side of the link that drives the shock.
