Advent Calendars, associated in my mind with 25 (or 24 if it was a cheapskate calendar) very small mis-shapen chocolates of dubious taste, although I do remember Singletrack doing an advent calendar prize a few years back and giving away a selection of bike related goodies, albeit not to me.
I had somehow missed that things had moved on until last year when my son put in an order for a toolkit advent calendar and this year my daughter has gone for a fashion and cosmetics version, which got me thinking as to what consisted of 25 or so parts that I could get into the house on the basis that “It’s just an advent calendar.”
So
1) spokes
2) hubs
3) pedals
4) rims
5) tyres
6) saddle
7) seatpost
8) shifter(s)
9) rear mech
10) bars
11) stem
12) grips
13) rear brake caliper
14) front brake caliper
15) brake hoses/cables
16) bottom bracket
17) gear cable(s)
18) crankset
20) cassette
21) chain
22) brake levers
23) front mech
24) brake rotors
25) frame
Now can I get it all in box I can fit under the tree, and still fit the tree in the front room?
