iTunes – the weak link in the whole Apple iWorld set-up…. 👿

Tried to open uo this am, and according to my laptop, iTunes.exe has been moved or changed – so can’t get into the program

Have searched computer for the file, looked in recycle, cant find anywhere.

So, computer glitchyness not Apple’s fault, but what’s the betting I now need to rebuild my entire iTunes library, again…

… and loose everything that is on two iPhones and three iPads…

    Rescue ideas VERY, very welcome

I believe there should be a folder for iTunes, usually beside the rest of your media, which should have the information relating to your settings etc. I think you can reinstall iTunes, replace the folder(s) and hopefully you should be getting there.

Recently my I Tunes decided to lose a bunch of albums and then to only have one track in each of the albums left behind. I’ve just put win amp on to try that as an alternative.

Have you tried downloading the software again? Shouldn’t need to rebuild anything unless all the music files have been wiped.

    Look for the library files:

If they’re still there, you’re all good. Or just restore from backup. Only idiots don’t take backups.
