  • A ride between Scotland and Ard Rock

Traveling from Edinburgh to Ard Rock for the enduro next month. Would like to do something on the way down but not sure what, probably Yorkshire Dales makes sense. A good quality (scenery, terrain, trails) recommendation would be much appreciated.

Hamsterley taking in the excellent off piste would satisfy trails and terrain while making logistical sense.

North Lakes wouldn’t be a big detour either which opens up a lot of options.

    cross fell.
    clockwise from milburn.
up from kirkland up to the screes, up to the summit, then cheeky stuff across little and great dun, then descend via silverband.

a proper warm up for reeth.

I did the opposite for SSUK2019, rode up from Northumberland to Comrie via Keilder, Newcastleton, Pentlands, Edinbrough, Falkirk, Stirling, Dunblane.

Ohh, you meant drive with a stop to ride half way.

@thisisnotaspoon I realised it sounded like that. With more time is love to do that!

Will check out the other suggestions, thanks
