As above. Im after a simple analogue and smart ish watch. Where should I put my cash??? I wear a Casio f91 for work and have a Jap Seiko 5 (has a blue second hand not sure what the model is) with a leather strap for best.
£80? Ha! Loddrick will be along soon to pour scorn on your poverty time piece. You would be as well drawing twelve equidistant marks in a circle on your wrist and hammering a nail in there as a sun dial you pauper.

The Swatch Chrono Plastic at £76.00 in black is a beautiful watch. Tough and works very well. Very comfortable, very practical, and really is a good looking watch. A non pretentious watch.
Pah!
Get yourself onto ebay and search for ‘shark sport watches’. You could get a watch for every day of the week for £80!
I got one for work (high risk of breakage so didn’t want to spend a fortune) fully expecting it to fall apart within hours of putting it on my wrist but after 12 months its never missed a beat.
I got a nice simple Diesel watch for £85. Second diesel watch I’ve had and both proved very reliable.
Plus one for liking simple watches. I cannot understand chronographs. At what point does anyone need anything more than a second hand? It’s not like I need to time an egg to a thousandth of a second!

I have a Lorus Sports watch – titanium case, crystal face, waterproof and accurate to within seconds a month. Very light too. Less than £40.
And stocked by highstreet jewellers so you can try before you buy.
The Mrs has a Citizen Eco Drive, really nice. The most impressive thing about it is the fact she’s failed to scratch/break it after 4 years or so. I’d you knew how often she walked into stuff you’d be impressed….
