I thought 650b was supposed to be the future… but the choice of 650b dual ply tyres isn’t as great as I’d expected.

I’ve got an Alps trip coming up and my tyre of choice, Maxxis Minion, seems to be difficult to come by in the 650b dual ply flavour.

Can anyone recommend a 650b dual ply alternative..

What about high roller 2? Think the 2.4 dh casing is a dual ply.

    Très bien akak !!!

I’ve also had the crazy idea of spending a little bit more and trying Schwalbe’s Procore with my normal tyres!!!! Might cost a bit more than a separate pair of dual plys. But I can think of a few reasons why it could actually work out cheaper in the long run… ummm

Maxxis are swapping distributors, so there is a shortage of Maxxis tyres. Other option is specialized/schwable/bontrager

    +1 for WTB Vigillante

bought one as couldn’t get a minion, been very please with it. Riding Lakedistrict rocky scree etc. Up tubeless no problem good grip etc etc.

AFAIK there will not be Maxxis in the UK for some time as there is a dispute with UK importers. There is no new maxxis imported now, only people selling stock.
