Now that the ground’s soft enough to dig, we’ll be polishing up the trail in 50 Acre Wood next weekend. The section we’ve got our eye on is over by the top layby on Weir Lane – it’s never been a very easy section to carry your speed through, and after a wet winter it looks less like a trail and more like a big pile of sick, barfed up by someone who’s been eating lots of roots and mud.
