I’ll shortly be getting a new Giant Stance – I’m really looking forward to it

Only downside though, is that it comes standard with a 3×9 drivetrain.

My current Bizango has a 2×10 and I’m really interested in going down a 1×11

If I wanted to do a “cheaper” 1×11 would I need just the following:

New 11 speed shifer (SLX @ £25)
New Cassette (XT 11 speed at £51)
New Deraileur (XT long cage at £52)
New chain (£20)

Some form of new chain ring (not sure yet)

Am I on the right track?

Yeah that’s it medium clutch mech though.

Hub take 11 speed cassette? Some don’t. Or is the xt cassette one of the narrow ones?
