    I’ve been thinking about the possibility of building up one of the new 27.5 TransAM frames from Transition.

    The spec says it takes a 32.8 seat clamp… I’ve never heard of or seen one in that size. Any ideas where I can get one? Bit of an odd size…

    Kcnc do a 33mm

    Pipedream also sell two 33mm clamps

    I guess they’d be close enough. Just being cautious as I don’t want to buy a £650 frame and then not be able to keep my seat up 😀

    DKG make a 33mm clamp.

    DKG designed and made the original Salsa clamps. You have to order direct from DKG in the USA, but an order arrives in a week and I’ve not been stung for import etc on the last two I bought.

    Seat clamp included with the frame, at least it was with the older ones.

    Ah, cool. Thats worth noting. Still nice to know I can get a spare if I manage to break it though.
