    Following on from the KERS in skiing – I thought there's a sport that needs something to make it interesting to watch so….
    what are your 3 most boring sports to watch?

    Here's mine..

    Skiing

    Swimming

    Basketball

    i'd actually put XC mountain biking up there
    with – crown green bowls, golf, snooker, curling

    I would have claimed F1 but the highlights are rather good the full thing rather dull.

    Junkyard, you're so wrong about bowls! Indoor bowls is fantastic!! Not as good as in the days of pipe smoking Bryant and co. but still fascinating all the same. I'm so taking it up when I'm a codger.

    I used to say F1, but that's improved a LOT.

    Now I'd go for, in this order

    1) Darts
    2) Horse Racing
    3) Fishing

    Fishing is great to do, but rarely makes good TV

    My kids watch it cheering every single bowl down wanting it to hit something – they think itis like big marbles or something they love it I fidnd it dull.

    It is great to play I agree with that but not to watch

    Anything with 'artistic impression' in it. So that's:

    1) synchronised swimming
    2) ice skating
    3) ballroom dancing

    Actually, figure skating is worst. Watch them skate in a perfect figure of 8 without flinching or deviating. Christ on a bike.

    Horsey stuff (apart from the National)

    Sports are only boring when you don't understand them. If it were genuinely boring no-one'd watch it, and furthermore no-one'd play it either.

    Football can be boring, it is my number one sport to watch while doing something else for example drinking and chating to mates or reading the Sunday papers.

    Golf now that is boring to watch occasionally the last hour of the Ryder cup can be OK if it is up for grabs but that would be it for me

    F1 although I could watch the start perhaps.
    Most other sports are boring if you grew up watching hurling

    Yes, really. Admittedly not a fan, but I'm happy to watch most sports, and find a lot of football games deadly dull.

    I do find surfing dull to watch, yes. It might be fabulously hard and wonderful to achieve but to watch? Meh. Swish, swish, swish, that's about it. I am a fan of mtbing too but it's also dull telly.
