Fantastic bike and really versatile. I rode everything from all day Alpine epics with 2000m+ of climbing to DH courses on mine last year. Best bike I’ve ever owned by some distance.
2SoulsCycles QH 2013, Size L, built by “MikeLima”; RESET headset, Syntace and Hope parts – lovely, isn´t it? (I am quite sure, he will work on the spacer tower)
QH 2013, Size L, without braze on, from “One78” (parts for using the Lefty were made by himself!)
QH 2013, Size L, my own “horse”, design based of an idea from me made by Rockenstein:
OK, I’m being lazy – what’s the difference between the QH and the Slim Jim? They look identical at a glance and the description on the website seems much the same. Is it tubing, geometry or something else?
I’m riding the Slim Jim/Quarterhorse for 2 years now and I still impressed. I’ve tried many trail oriented 29er but never had that same feeling. In tight terrain it’s quick and agile and at the same time it’s totally stable at high speed.
I wasn`t a fan of circus wheels,…but now have a QH (and a SJ before)..
its brilliant ! pedally singletrack and pointing down is unbelievable fun..
for technical, steep, switchback trails I prefer 26 inch wheels.. but for fast flowy tracks the QH is a blast..
I would say mine is the best hardtail trail bike I’ve ever ridden, ups, downs, across, it does it all so well, excellent in slow nadgery technical rock gardens too as I found out today.
Makes me ride like a real eejit. Popping off everything. Super steep drops with lots of rocks, sold my Nicolai Helius CC for it, best bike deal I’ve done
I’m looking at frame weights and reading anything from 6.5-7 lbs ,is that right
If so I’m goner end up with a around 28 lb ss ,not the biggest worry in the world
