Does that make 650b /27.5 whatever they are called, just a bit camp?

That bloke cut out a big sheet of cardboard and made himself a sign, then carried that sign to the race, and stood there holding it. Imagine, all that effort, just to criticise a bicycle wheelsize that he doesn’t have to use if he doesn’t want to. What a cretin.

and then he chose a homophobic way of criticising them. Fool.

Just what you need to see in a race while sailing through the air. I love the deadpan expression. This is clearly a deeply held belief. πŸ˜†

quite a big piece of cardboard though, hey ?

I think we all know what it came from – he doth protest too much

Measure the width of the sign in inches, it is more than 26″, more than 27.5″ but slightly less that 30″…

…maybe he was being self referential?

I think he has far greater issues than homophobia.

and then he chose a homophobic way of criticising them

I think that man is very comfortable with his chopper axe and his sexuality πŸ™‚

Odd. I took that guy with the sign roughly from behind in The Blue Oyster last Saturday.

    He pushed back too.

    Is it homophobic?

I have yet to hear that is so gay be used as a compliment [ by a breeder] for something though many folk who use it are not actually homophobic.

Could of been a lot worse this. The sign could of read…’29ers are doomed’.

    Very damaging that. πŸ˜€

So what…s’funny how words change over time and we’re powerless to do anything about it, whether we like it or not.

The OED have updated the dictionary definition for ‘literally’ so that it can be used figuratively! The OED! FFS…is nothing sacred?! I am literally spitting feathers.

Like my 9yr old nephew πŸ˜€

Need to be a cumsponge in a sexytime club? My gods its a minefield. ..I shall go back to hill walking. Now..red socks, hats with or without bobbles, trekking poles..? No sod it..I’m just never going leave the house again, it’s the only way to be safe πŸ˜€

You know, this just disgusts me! What does it say about us as a society and more specifically the quality of education that we offer to our children that a young man who must have been through many years of schooling is unable to even spell “Great!” correctly. I do despair sometimes!

    So what..

Have you forgotten your question that this answered?

funny how words change over time and we’re powerless to do anything about it, whether we like it or not.

Tell that to all the gays who took ownership of the word gay…literally.

Its a poor choice, and eaisly avoided, when you wish to say something is crap

Note to self: never argue with an idiot, they just drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
