    I’ve only ridden one once. I couldn’t tell the difference. Hence the dilemma.

    Whether you think they are faster, slower , better or worse the one thing they are is different . I am very surprised if you really couldn’t tell the difference , assuming you actually took it for a proper off road ride .

    I briefly tried to persuade my GF that maybe a 650b might be a better solution, as at 5ft8 but long in the leg most medium sized 29ers are a bit long for her and decent small 29ers relatively thin on the ground. She was hearing none of it, and wants a 29er!

    Shame Kinesis don’t do the Sync (which is what I’m riding) in a 29er in the small, as I’m sure she’d have ordered one already!
