    I’m moving over to a 29er and trying to keep costs down as much as possible

    Currently have a SLX 36/22 with a 11-32 cassette, how big a jump is 22/32 on a 29er wheel?

    Don’t worry about it.
    Just swap the stuff over.
    22:32 will get you up anything.

    You’ll be fine although i do prefer the 11/36 set up with a 22/32 upfront which I’ve just swapped to.
