Basically, are 29er forks longer then 26er forks overall? I have some Fox 120s (for 26″)with spacer removed, so now 140s. I want to put them on my inbred 29er. The inbred runs touring tires (42mm) so tire clearance is not an issue. Does anyone know if this will make the bike handle wierd as these are a fair bit longer than the Tange streel rigid forks I have on there now. Would this be resolved by putting the spacer back in and running them as 120s?

Have you tried to fit it? Can’t quite see the wheel fitting.

Do you have a fork on the inbred? If so just hold it along side, Fox are hopeless at putting data like Axle to Crown measurements online but I think one of the other forums had a list.
