  • 29er Fork for a light rider?

    Morning all,

What is the best option for a suspension for for a light rider?

My wife’s fork has never worked that well, and would like to replace it with something that does…

    29er flavour – tapered.

    Cheers all.

    Reba if you’re strapped.
    SID if you’re feeling flush.

I’m fairly light, although not as light as this^,but also am getting on really well with Fox Float 32.

I have a lightly used 100mm 29in Reba, tapered with 15mm axle that I was probably gonna sell.

Drop me a line if that would fit the bill.

Tracey- are those U-Turns? If not is the travel adjustable?

If they’re recent Rebas, you change the travel by swapping airshaft for about £30, much same as Pike etc.

Older Rebas were the old style ‘adding spacer to shaft’ style for travel adjust but I think that’s really quite old in terms of SH forks now… 2012 sticks in mind for some reason?

My current Rebas came with a MoCo damper and 120mm shaft fitted, but the original damper and 100mm shaft in the box, so I know this works.
