  • 28 hole rear hub?

    I'm in need of a couple of rear 28 hole hubs, with 6 bolt disc mount.
    Struggling to find anything cheaper than a Pro 2, anyone got any ideas for a cheaper alternative, as it's for a back up pair of wheels already have the rims?

    Just use 32 or 36 and miss out some spoke holes.

    I may have a mavic crossride wheel with a disc hub that i think is a 28h. The rim is dinged and it's just sat in my shed. Hub should have no issues as far as i know.

    Any good to you?

    Could be, but ideally want two hubs the same as it's for a ghetto 29er conversion on a Surly Pugsley I'm doing for a friend.

    Similar to MrTall, I've got a Bontrager Race Lite one (black, DT Swiss style) sitting in the garage doing nothing.
