    Long shot: got a 1″ gash in my tyre, currently around Machynlleth, looking to buy a tyre from someone in 27.5 / 650B 2.4″-2.8″ …If anyone reads this and can help ASAP, I would be incredibly grateful.

    Thanks for the replies. I may try n sew the slit back up and remount it tubelessly, and try my luck. Or I’m gonna bail and catch the train home. Appreciate all the responses.

    Summit Cycles are only 18 miles down the road in Aberystwyth. Last time I looked they had plenty of choice in 27.5, but give them a ring first.

    Dyfi bike park said I could call by this morning. Alas, whilst waiting, I sewed the tyre, filled tube with sealant, cable tied the damaged area and will continue on road to Rhayader, as my mate’s gone on off road. Thanks again for all the input. My fault for bringing such a thin tyre along!
