I want to do a damper oil change on my forks and have plenty of Rockshox 3wt (Maxima RSF?) in the cupboard. According to the chart https://www.peterverdone.com/archive/files/suspension%20oils.pdf it looks relatively similar to the Maxima RFF 5wt that is recommended, very slightly lower cSt @ 40c but more stable at temperature (higher cSt @100c).

Anyone tried it? I expect I wouldn’t notice any real difference? Also, any idea how much oil the damper takes so I can double check I have enough beforehand!

Never mind – rechecked the garage and I only have enough 2.5WT in the cupboard for a fork so ordered the proper Maxima 5WT stuff anyway.
