    Hi all,

    I have experience of dropping the extended height of air srung fox and rockshox forks internally via the clip on spacers. However, I have a pair of 36 talas, which I’d like to drop to 140mm travel at full extension (I wont ever need the 120mm mode anyway). I know I could buy a float conversion kit and easily drop the travel using the clip on spacers then, but the kit is £85.

    Before I go tearing my fork apart to find out, has anyone internally adjusted a pair of talas forks? can it be done??

    Can’t be done!

    The float conversion kit was £54.00 last time I looked.

    Holy s**t just checked, I paid 54.00 for my pre 2011 kit a few weeks ago, pretty sure the 2011-2012 kit was the same price.

    New stock, new price I guess.
