Help needed, think my Fox float forks need a service and was going to do the lower end.
All of the resources that I have looked at for this seem to be for a ‘FIT’ type shock where equal amounts of fox GREEN go into each leg but I think the 2007 float RLC is an ‘open bath’ with unequal amounts, 160ml and 30ml of RED going into the damper and spring side respectively.

Anyone done one of these shocks and have a guide or exploded diagram of the shock or can point to appropriate guide?

Thanks to the hive mind for any insights.

Think it depends on the travel?

    Big list here – https://www.ridefox.com/fox17/help.php?m=bike&id=530

Yes thanks db, I think I got the fluid vols from there. Wasn’t sure though if the process for service was the same as for the FIT type videos that I have seen or whether the open bath is a different technique, guess the forms are getting a bit long in the tooth now for there to be videos or service guides around.

If you trawl Youtube you shold be able to find something appropriate
eg. 11 years old Fox TALAS service vid – .https://youtu.be/t24xff7Je5Q.
There should be something appropriate to yours on there 🙂

serviced mine today, thought it was worth noting that the Hope pro 2 hub seal press works perfectly as the press for pushing in 32 mm fork seals. Which is useful as I already had one.
