  • 2002 Heckler – what size seatpost?

    My seatpost is jammed tight as …………….bike shop has had a go but managed to move it two centimetres in 10 minutes of working it!! So, it’s off to the blacksmiths for some pneumatic drift hammering to get it out. Anyway, I’ll need a new one to replace it, anybody here know which diameter post I need?

    Nobody got an oldish Heckler anymore and a micrometer………….?

    When you get the old one out and read the diameter, try one a tiny bit thinner!

    Try soaking overnight in some penetrating oil before you deploy gorilla tactics.

    2003 bullit is 28.6 – weird size but I doubt a heckler was bigger
