    Anyone done it? Ridiculous idea and flaming death or actually pretty ok?
    Thinking of using my 35mm rims on a new frame but it looks like there won’t be enough room for the usual 2.6 tyre I have on the wheel

    Yeah, it’s fine. DHR2 on a 35mm here, feels great.

    The rim will ‘stretch’ the tyre, I’d try it once it arrives.

    I could run bigger tyres in my frame, but 2.35 or 2.4 is fine. Currently on a DHR 2.4 as above.

    Submarined- good to know, thanks
    Superficial – is that with a 35mm internal rim as well?

    I have a 2.4 Maxxis Ardent on a Raceface Arc35 rim, it works great. I have also used a 2.4 tyre on a 45mm width rim, that was a little square but still worked well and had lots of grip.

    @filks Yes on 35mm rims.
