I used a little red spacer from a crank. I think it was from a crank. It is red though.

Would a 2mm one do? I’ve got a shit load of them here.

Ha, yeah it’s not being picky, I’ve got a carbon fork and using a k-edge mount, it’s just 1mm out from being able to tighen up properly.

    – thanks for the offer, but I think a 2mm might be too much, and there won’t be enough of the steerer tube left for the mount to attach properly.

I needed something similar a while back
Get Carbon spacers – they sand down really quick with normal sandpaper

If I tried that I’d have a .5mm/1mm/1.2mm unusable ring of carbon fibre

I might be being thick here, but don’t understand why a 1mm spacer is required? You always want a bit of clearance above the top of the top of the steerer, some of which is then taken up when you do up the top cap?

(What I’m trying to say is why is 1mm required, but 2mm or even 5mm would be too much)
