I’m considering a wee project to lay a mosaic floor in my porch area which is getting done up soon (I know … how fancy!).

I have a design I want and can make it out of 4 colours – white, light grey, dark grey, and black.

but, I cant seem to find an obvious source of ~1cm square mosaics tiles. Any ideas / sources ? A lot of the mosaic sheets are 2cm tiles, and I just wont be able to make my design work if they are that size.

Yeah, I had seen that and have asked them about the suitability of the tiles. But they seem to be the only ones.

Its the 1cm size I seem to be struggling to find. Plenty of mosaic sheets and companies etc.

Lots of 10mm on eBay

but they come on a soluble paper sheet, if you’re covering a larger area you use the sheets so the tiles are all properly spaced. If you want smaller sizes, cut down the sheets. Single tiles, just drop the sheets in a bucket of water and the tiles drop off.

A 10cm x 10cm sheet (including spaces) is a 9×9 of tiles, iirc from doing my kitchen
