Sorry to hear this guys – hope you get everything sorted.
(If you need any advice on security / alarms – my wife works for a very good security company and I'm sure they'll be happy to return the excellent service you gave me when I bought my Soul from you)Posted 11 years ago
Bad news – I'll certainly keep my eyes out.
That Nicolai is ace, too – convinced me to buy one!!Posted 11 years ago
BuggerPosted 11 years ago
Crap news.Posted 11 years ago
How about an Ebay Auto-Search in case anything pops up on there.
Might be worth a go.
😡Posted 11 years ago
I would be so pissed at Chubb right now. Surely you have some comeback on them for compensation?Posted 11 years ago
shit Si, thats terrible.. wonder if it was the same guys who last tried it on ?Posted 11 years ago
this sucks guys. will keep em peeledPosted 11 years ago
That, quite simply, sucks. 🙁Posted 11 years ago
Bushwacked- if she can make contact, please.
Auto Ebay- done, thanks anyhow!
Chubb – we're waiting on a call back. I have a relation in PR who can take this as high as we need to, we'll see.
Cheers,Posted 11 years ago
sounds not fit for purpose Si.Posted 11 years ago
absolute fuck1ng w4nkers!Posted 11 years ago
Si – Passed your details on to my wife (Bryony) and she'll give you a call either way whether they can help or not.
The company she works for is Allcooper.comPosted 11 years ago
Thats a pain in the bum for you.
Want to form a vengenace squad of retailers who cape up and wear tight pants?
Selling it to you eh? admit it…
MDPosted 11 years ago
Sorry to hear about that Si, you were very helpful to me when my Soul was stolen back in March – hope they catch the b@st@rds.
Your website down at the moment?Posted 11 years ago
Yep, website seems down.
That really sucks.Posted 11 years ago
I'll keep a look out in the scally part of South Derby that I live in.
bushwacked- ta, have chatted, will discuss with her – thanks for that.
mark – I'd love to see that, really.

*dons spandex hero costume*Posted 11 years ago
Si & Matt I'm absolutley gutted for you guys.
I'll keep an eye out, I check all bikes in detail now anyway, but you know why.
Have you tried Gumtree too as the scrotes sell an abundance of stolen kit on there because they're more lax about stuff than flea bay and you can delete you advert/post after its sold (apparently)
Oh, I've got a Ninja outfit, will that count as hero costume??Posted 11 years ago
I'm raging, I was up at 330am this morning and I travelled from Ireland to Demo the Pace too…
Hope everything get sorted for you, I didn't know what to say on the phone to you this morning and you obviously sounded shocked.Posted 11 years ago
Saccades- we'll be in touch and see you right, thanks for being so so understanding – it's just sod's law that was one of the bikes- where were you when I called then?!
Cheers,Posted 11 years ago
just heard si. if me or dad can do anything to help….i was in the woodwine when the owner(i forget her name told us)Posted 11 years ago
I was with annie last and we will keep are eyes peeled.
No worries, these things happen and no one was hurt. I'd gotten to my dad's house in s.manchester about 15 mins before you called, was just about to get start getting changed and nick his car to drive over.
Spent most of the day walking up to the Marple Cross thing instead (something I haven't done since I was a scout back in the day) and the rest fettling my old, old raleigh mustang for my dad, so the day was full of old memories instead.Posted 11 years ago
Site's back up now
Bruce – we're chatting to your dad already but thanks for the offer
Saccades – at least it wasn't a totally lost day then, we'll be in touch when we've got stuff sorted out
matt (waiting for si to buy some bigger coach bolts so we can secure the door)Posted 11 years ago
Sorry to hear about your break in.
Bloody scrotes got nothing better to do.
If you need advice on roller shutters or security grilles give me a shout as this is what i do for a living.
Happy to come over and have a look for you and advise accordingly.
In the meantime I'll keep my eyes and ears openPosted 11 years ago
i'm assuming its redcare or equivilant you have for monitoring the alarm. in all the years i've had working for alarm companies, locksmiths etc that has got to be the biggest waste of money even the police in bristol said the don't treat them as a priority, thats even providing the monitoring station bothers to tell 'em.Posted 11 years ago
Sorry to hear that. Purple Mountain at Kielder got turned over recebtly too. Sure someone said silverfish did as well. Might be worth mentioning to plod in case it's actually the same scrotes. May be something they can piece together from various sites. Hope they get them for you.Posted 11 years ago
Will keep an eye out in case any make there way to the bikeshak or around my local trails @ rivi.Posted 11 years ago
whinlatter also got doen earlier in year
Tough luck guys, hope you get sorted soon.
Wife is also having problems with Chubb.Posted 11 years ago
Strongly worded letters have been sent and her works building is to be rewired with a new system because they are unable to fix the old one which is only a couple of years old ❗
sorry to here this 18bikes. As billybull says Purple Mountain bikes (though at Dalby not Keilder)got broke into and top notch geartaken… These people are surley 'professional'? Will scan the streets in south yorks good luck with the recoveryPosted 11 years ago
Pretty sure Kielder got done. Got told by someone who works for the Bike Place. NOt sure why they would have got that wrong.Posted 11 years ago
Cr@p couple of days..Anyways insurance will cover – More important how's the cat?Posted 11 years ago
Blimey Billybull, thats both then cos Dalby did for sure. Wonder if there is a link? Was at Dalby 3 weeks ago tomorrow when I went in and asked why they had no bikes in? Shop man told me then. Though I hear they didnt want it publising.. Guess ive just blown that for em…Posted 11 years ago
Scuzer, does sound more organised than people probably initially thought. Certainly sounds like a gang when you look at all the places getting done. That has to be of even more interest to the coppers than an isolated instance. Not that I am saying a one off is not bad for the lads at 18 bikes and shouldn't be followed up anyway. If they keep this up it's going to get harder for all these small businesses.Posted 11 years ago
bumpPosted 11 years ago
Terrible news – I was only admiring the Nicolai t'other weekend an'all. Will keep eyes peeled in the Leeds area.Posted 11 years ago
