    Apologies, I know this will have been done before but I failed to find an answer. I have a mate who has a knackered 12 speed Sram rear mech and is looking to replace it. I have a feeling that he could use an SLX M7100 12 speed mech and it play nicely with his NX shifter. The shifter is mated to his brake levers so don’t want to change that. Thanks in advance.

    Same here, i’ve been running a GX shifter and SLX rear mech since the back end of last year, all good.

    Yes, I was asking the same question a few months ago… in my case SLX RD coupled with the cheapo SX shifter. It works just great and far better than it did with the original SX RD.

    yep works good for me – sram mechs are horrible things.
