Specialized epic.

100mm shock. I set pressure then did autosag. Sag is 15mm.

But noticed only 50mm of the shaft showing?

Confused?

It says 20-30% sag and 15% off 50 is 15…so if 50mm of rear travel it would make sense…but it says 100mm of travel everywhere I look on line

I assume the 100 mm is the rear suspension travel. You have a 2″ (50 mm) stroke shock and a leverage ratio of 2. That’s normal.

Leverage ratio x stroke = wheel travel
2 x 50 mm = 100 mm

The 100mm is the travel of the rear wheel, not how far the shock shaft moves. There are pivots/linkages to take into account.

100 mm of travel – Epic shock is 51 stroke. Roughly speaking, for every mm of shock movement, you are getting twice as much travel. So 15mm is 30% sag.
