    Hello.
    So I’m building a bike with a 1×10 chainset but buying seperately rather than a whole groupset in one, and wondered whether there’s any weird issues with using a KMC X10 chain with a shimano HG cassette? does it shift smoothly still, or (like the shimano blurb says) will i have to get a HG chain too?

    KMC chains are just fine.

    I’m running a KMC X10 on my HG cassette with no problems at all: smooth shifting every time.
