The weight limit is 44t in the uk on 6 axles, 40t on 5 axles. trucks running more than 44t gross weight have to display a STGO plate, these fall into cat 1, 2, 3 depending on the maximum weight to be carried.

I always thought the weight limit in the UK was 44 tonnes but it looks like with modern equipment it can be a lot more.

Would have thought that most trucks would be able to move that with the right trailer. However, even more impressive is the crane they used to lower the bridge onto the trailer, I think I know what I want for christmas...
