thanks Sonor, yes as it's not a club we don't have posted rides as such we will just suggest a ride/meeting place a few days before the weekend. But they are pretty much every weekend at 9-30 a.m. on a Sunday.

Location depends on wherever we fancy riding.

Hi Gary and congratulations; your move has bought you within spitting distance of the best riding in the country (allegedly) :wink:

Thanks to the props from t-i-m above (do i know you?). We haven't lost a rider out on the trail yet 8O

domtb aren't a club, just a group of like minded individuals who enjoy getting out to ride. Check out the site for this week's ride report plus a selection of videos (below the picture viewer) which gives you an idea of the kind of stuff we enjoy riding.

You are welcome to come along for a ride if you want. Just bring a helmet and a functioning bike and have a read of the disclaimer :o

Cheers everyone, that gives me a lot to go at. I'm quite lucky at the moment as I split my time between Reading right near Swinley and Woking / Surrey Hills so lets go ride...........

Cross country riding is hammering along bridleways (and footpaths) getting your mileage up whilst doing your best to keep your breakfast down. Occasionally pausing while a Lancastrian pervert photos your arse from multiple angles. Allegedly.

Singletrack involves being out for the same time but spending at least half of it talking to your mates at Peaslake bus shelter.

For best results, a mixture of both is to be encouraged. Except the arse photos. He must not be encouraged.

cross country is riding across the entire country, where as singletrack is riding one particular individual track on its own, hence the term "single" (i.e. one) track.

We ride mainly singletrack, but also love to ride cross country in the warmer months.

What's the difference? Surely the riding on the Surrey Hills is all XC, unless you're specifically doing jumps or looking for massive drops, it's just XC!

As mentioned above the old Cycleworks Tuesday Night Rides are now run under the name Love to Ride.
