Beware those extension bits, they can fall off as mine did. Though thankfully I heard it go and managed to pick it up.
Fitted to a 29er suss. Had to move the mounting point because if you use the end one on a suss, the action of the suspension will deform and snap the mount.]]></content:encoded>

How did that work out? I found I had to secure the rear to the seatstay bridge to stop it bouncing about. Punched two small holes and used a zip tie as an intended temporary fix which I'm still happy with 18 months later.

Meanwhile, I bought some of those universal stays I linked for my Wales, having failed to think of a better option, other than bending my own stays from stainless wire, but this build is out of hand as it is. They look like they'll work well. Slightly annoying to introduce a bit of black plastic, but they don't look bad.

I'll see how it works for me anyway. I'd guess I could get the flaps separately if I needed to and they'd likely fit if the profile is the same.
