No pic but new waterproof jacket. Showerpass Elite 2.1 (event). No excuse for not going out in the current S.Wales monsoon now!

Sailor74, is that the Ambit?

I'm sorely tempted by one of them for running and the like, so any feedback is welcome indeed.

As for me, my lovely wife got me a new headtorch (Myo RXP) and other running-type stuff.

As with the last couple of years, all my gifts were donations to the local mountain rescue

I got a nice new 661 Recon Helmet to replace my old, tired, crashed-on Giro Xen

[img] [/img]

And a Tacx Trainer in hope of getting a bit more fitness and entering a few races this year.

[img] [/img]

Well chuffed, all round - christened the helmet yesterday, need to decide which bike to give over to the trainer - currently looking to be the under-used singlespeed road bike.

Julianwilson - is that a PDW King of Ding? Excellent bell.

My only bike-related gift was this horror:
[img] [/img]

At least it was given as a novelty - having received a season ticket for SCCC from the bread-knife, nothing could spoil my day.

Only gave bike related presents this year, but received a a very happy and proud biking companion in return đŸ™‚

(yes yes I know stabilisers, but I've already had 6 months of her flatly refusing to get on her balance bike as it 'doesn't have pedals like Daddies' - anyone want to buy a like new pink Ridgeback Scoot?)

I was given some money so have ordered some CDs (I know, how quaint) by the legendary Van Morrison and Neil Young.

The two things I'm really excited about are the 20-30 year old second-hand books about ancient trackways in Wessex. More exploring. 8)

Yes I know, I'm different from most women. đŸ˜³

What's the difference between an outdoor instructor and a sheep?
The sheep only has one fleece.
