See there's the interesting point. PG980 is cheaper; XT is lighter. If I can find a wiggle voucher there's probably about a fiver in it. I've been impressed with the longevity of my current PG990, but they're not cheap new.

CRC are doing PG970 for 20 quid.

SRAM it is - at £35 you can't go far wrong (I hope)
