Got a new set of Vanilla R's for Christmas. Had a couple of rides on them to get them bedded in and on Sunday, over frozen ground I have to say they were a complete revelation. My previous Forks were Vanilla's also from 2005, but the new ones are just in a different league. Stunned as to how supple and well damped they feel. Seems Forks have come on a long way in the last few years.

Nice.
I have also had some 05 Vans which i loved. A set of 08's went on the new bike which i love even more. They're cheap and reliable and do the job - Why buy anything more.

i have 08 van r's and they are the plushest, bestest forks i've used. knock socks off anything else, just weigh that little bit more than air forks.
