Aviemore Classic Ride – Green Loch.

Pete Scullion takes a trip to the Scottish Highlands to uncover a tiny tip of the riding available there.

Battleship grey skies greet the Mikes Bikes crew in Aviemore and offer stark contrast to the warm glow of the famous Mountain Café, the meeting point for today’s venture. Coffee and cooked breakfast stoke the boilers before rolling out on the Old Logging Way that makes up the cruisey opening miles of this classic. The Mikes Bikes contingent of Sally, Euan and Bruce is bolstered by Georgia from the UK’s branch of the Big S, out today to scalp her first Scottish peak.
