Sadly my Whyte 29c has to go. I just don’t really use it (I’ve ridden it twice this year, and I only built it 14 months ago!) and I have an impending house purchase, so everything is up for sale… Here’s the specs.
-2015 Whyte 29cs Frame, Medium size, brand new in 2017 (warranty replacement) and done maybe 350 miles since.
-Hope PF46-24 convertor Bottom Bracket
-RockShox Revelation RCT3 Fork with tapered steerer and 15mm axle @ 110mm travel (anyone who knows will tell you that though 100g heavier than the Reba, this fork is much stiffer and the RCT3 damper is a big step up over the RL damper). Recent lower leg service and oil change on these.
-DT Swiss 240s hubs built on Pacenti TL28 rims with DT Comp Race spokes (sub 1600g wheelset but still with 23mm internal width for decent tyre volume!). Wheels are only 6 rides old.
-Crank Bros 65mm Alloy stem with carbon faceplate (RRP was a bonkers £90 on this!)
-Sunline 762mm flat alloy bars or can swap for a 720mm Ritchey flat bar
-Whyte branded 30.9 seatpost
-Whyte branded saddle
-Ergon GE1 grips, though can replace for Whyte OEM.
-SRAM X01 11spd rear derailleur, shifter, XG1195 cassette & KMC SL11 gold chain
-Raceface Turbine 170mm cranks (or can swap for M785 XT), Black, with 30T Blackspire Snaggletooth ring.
-XT M785 brakes with choice of 160 centrelock rotors (or could replace with some brand new SRAM Level TLM’s).
-Choice of various tyres inc. Rocket Rons, X-Kings etc.
I would happily sell it as a bike specced as above for £1200. I am also happy to split and sell as a frame/fork/wheels/BB/headset/seatpost/saddle rolling chassis for £900.
Collection preferred, will post at cost.
