Following my ‘what big estate’ thread it’s time to sell my bike van as I want a car for work.

Key info:

57 plate. 1.9 engine. ~108300 miles. Full service history and £2000 spent in last 12 months including head gasket skim and engine rebuild, cam belt, glow plugs, injector harness as well as water pump, brake callipers and pipes.

I added the windows, insulation and carpet myself and has two seats fitted in the back (with insurance certificate) close to the slider so there’s a long channel to put bikes/boards/sleep.  The seats have always had covers on (included) so are in VGC, although the rear fabric doesn’t match the front, but that’s hidden under the covers obviously.

3 seats in the front (so 5 in all) with a swivel base for the double.

2 sets of wheels included. Alloys with Cross climates and steels with Michelin’s on.

Bike rack included.

Bluetooth stereo with hands free.

Remapped professionally to 130 bhp so it actually overtakes. I get 650 miles from a £95 fill up which isn’t bad for a big van.

The only point that isn’t good is the paint, there are rust patches coming through and some non-concourse standard (!) retouches.

Given it’s a 14 year old van with 108000 miles I think it’s a good example, the service history is complete and I’ve got two keys.

I know I’ll miss a van but I can manage without one for a couple of years.
