Regrettable sale due to a change of circumstance… I bought the El Viajero as a complete bike from Planet X in one of their sales, I stripped it down and sold off all the components ready to build with my own… And then things went south! First I dislocated my knee, then severe bouts of sciatica (both of which conspired to keep me off a bike for ages, and en eBike only when I could get back on one), and then I got Cancer… I’m on the road to recovery now, but my plans to build this up as a long distance Marathon XC style hardtail have been shelved, I just won’t be able to use it… So it’s for sale…

Frame is size Medium, brand new, unridden… Comes with headset, axle, seatclamp, all bolts and cable guides etc… I can chuck in either a DUB or HT2 threaded BB for the new owner, and a rigid seatpost too if required… Pretty lightweight at around 1900g, designed around a 100-120mm fork, stealth dropper routing, Boost spaced rear end etc.

The fork is brand new, unridden too… Bought this from CRC in a sale last winter (too late to return now, missed the window) for £399… It’s a Fox 34 Performance, 44mm offset, 120mm travel, steerer is full length uncut…

I potentially have a number of other components to build this up with if it was required (low mileage SRAM or Shimano 11spd groupset, brakes, bars/stem/saddles etc.)…

Unavailable in this size from PlanetX any more… These frames were initially £1100 I believe before they dropped the price to £800… I’m asking £675 for the frame and would like £375 for the fork…

Or will sell both together for a nice round £1k…
