<< Update >>
The following are now gone: Topo shoes, Talon shoes, Gravelking, the 2.35 Mezcal, Horizon stem, and the Salsa bars
I have a few things to clear out (as normal, how does this keep happening?) and thought I’d use the opportunity to collect some money for charity. Tyres, stems, Salsa handlebar and nice Salomon hiking boots…
One of the most concerning things I’ve heard since the pandemic is the increase of domestic violence due to people (mostly women of course) being locked away with there abusers.
Refuge UK are calling for donations, so I’d be happy to post any of the below parts out to anyone willing to make a one-time donation to them:
I’ll include my suggested donations below.
Please email me here, firstname.lastname@example.org, as the STW system likes loosing my messages…
Vittoria Mezcal 29er
I’ve a pair of Mezcal’s that I’m unlikely to use, as they’ve a bit bigger than my monstercross bike needs. They’ve been used once so are in perfect condition.
One is 29″ x 2.25″, the other 29″ x 2.35″. Both are the tubeless TNT version, the 2.25″ is the G+, the 2.35″ the Graphine 2.0.
I’ll split if I have to, but would rather keep them together for a donation of about £50 for the pair (and I’ll cover the postage).
Vittoria AKA 29er
I also have a single AKA tyre, the tubeless TNT version, and 2.2″ in volume.
This has had a couple of hundred miles use, but all on the front and only for long easy XC stuff. Loads of tread left and no damage.
A donation of about £10-15 for this would be nice (given I’ll be covering the postage at nearly £5).
Panaracer Gravelking slick, 650b
Very fast and light (420g ish) gravel tyre that somehow still fits in sidewall protection (more than WTB gravel tyres).
I have just one tyre, and it’s 650b x 48mm in volume and the tubeless model.
I’ve used it briefly on the front — it has only very minor wear and no damage.
A donation of about £15-20 for this would be nice.
Nukeproof Horizon stem
Very nice CNC stem, 60mm long, and for 31.8mm bars.
Excellent condition, a donation of about £20 would be nice.
Bontrager Rythm Pro stem
Another nice stem, this one 80mm long and for 31.8mm bars.
Good condition, a donation of about £15 would be nice.
Really a very nice handlebar, if I were going to have one bike and one handlebar it’d be this (fortunately I have two bikes, so don’t need this anymore).
710mm wide, 23 degrees sweep and a bit of rise, 31.8mm clamp.
Good condition, a donation of about £25 would be nice.
Shoes: Salomon X-Alp MTN GTX, size UK9
Very nice winter hiking/mountaineering boots that I’ve worn twice — bought as an emergency on a Scotland trip two years ago, but not used since.
Like these, but the men’s version
Perfect condition, so a donation of about £100 would be nice.
