Carbon Santa Cruz Tallboy 2.
I bought the bike last year during the pandemic and replaced everything except the Hope headset.
I’ve only ridden it once since building it up, thinking I’d get back into mountain biking, but that isn’t going to happen. So rather than gather dust in the spare room it’s up for sale.
All of the bushes/bearings in the pivot points have been replaced (receipt for the work).
Here’s a list of what was bought new (and is only one ride old):
Fox 34 Float Factory FIT4 Tapered Forks with Custom Decals by Gil @ retrodecals.
Fox Transfer Dropper Seatpost and Wolftooth Remote lever
XTR 11spd Cassette and Rear Mech
Hope Fortus 26W Wheelset with New Floating Rotors
Numerous Hope ‘Finishing’ bits including:-
Bottom Bracket/Seatpost Clamp/Bar End Bungs/E4 Bore Caps/E4 Brake Pads (front and rear)/Tech 3 Lever Screws/Chainring/Crank Bolts
Headset spacers/cables/chain/full brake service whilst replacing bore caps
This is the list of items replaced with ‘used – like new’ parts:
ENVE RSR Carbon Riser Bars
XTR 11spd Shifter
XTR Trail SPD’s
Hope E4 Brakes
Hope EVO Spiderless Cranks
OURY Lock-On Grips.
Sure I’ve missed something but that’ll do for starters.
It’s a little different as I couldn’t decide on what colour hubs etc I wanted so I went with the colour of the decals and went all blue and red. Hubs/bolts/thru-axles/bore caps/bottom bracket cups are all alternating blue and red.
Based in the North East if you want a look.
It’s a used frame and as such has the usual scrapes and scuff. Other than that there’s nothing else to say. I’d hate to think what it would cost to buy new with this spec.
Now asking £2350 ONO for complete bike;
or £1375 ONO for frame, forks, headset, stem.
